Awareness-Raising Mainstreamed in Sporting Activities

The final match of the tournament provided an opportunity to raise awareness on key issues such as peace, youth engagement, education, climate change, and community cohesion. Talobeeg Foundation strategically used this platform to disseminate awareness messages and engage the community in critical conversations.

Printed materials containing awareness messages on peace, climate change, and community resilience were distributed to players and the crowd. Officials delivered speeches focused on the importance of youth involvement in peacebuilding, the impact of climate change, and the innovative resilience of the Baardheere community, especially in light of the recent destruction of the town’s lifeline bridge by the overflooded river.
