The TVET program was designed to provide technical education in subjects such as Solar System, Electricity, and ICT, with a focus on enabling youth and women to actively participate in the labor market. Talobeeg Foundation recognized the best-performing students by offering them start-up tools as a reward for their achievements.
Additionally, the foundation provided supplementary activities, including entrepreneurship training, collaboration with the private sector for internships, job placement assistance, and ongoing support for the graduate students. Talobeeg Foundation has committed to mentoring the program’s graduates and will conduct remedial seminars as part of the KAABE Youth Empowerment Project.
The KAABE Youth Empowerment Project is being funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland through the Finnish Somali Network (FSN), with support from Puntland Community and the Finnish University of Applied Science (HAMK).
Talobeeg Foundation has pledged to continue its dedication to facilitating development cooperation projects like KAABE and maintain partnerships with local educational institutions such as GIU. This commitment reflects our ongoing efforts to support the development and empowerment of youth and women in the region
